TMS Entertainment is bringing Dr. Stone across its final narrative line with the Science Future third and closing cour. Episodes 25 through 27 have already shipped at weekly intervals this month, and episode 28 lands on Crunchyroll on April 23 at 10am Eastern — with new episodes every Thursday through the end of the run.
"We said from the start that the ending had to feel earned scientifically, not just dramatically. That's the version we're putting out." — series director Shinya Iino.
Dr. Stone is one of the rare long-form shōnen adaptations built almost entirely around procedural problem-solving, and the final cour is adapting Riichirō Inagaki and Boichi's closing volumes. The staff has confirmed that the series won't receive a compilation film, though a season-scale retrospective special is in production for winter 2026.
